The last few days has seen a rush of news concerning The Expendables 3, with new casting announcements followed by an official release date.


Lionsgate has confirmed that the film will hit US cinemas on 15 August 2014, planting it firmly in summer blockbuster territory, where it belongs.

The release date comes hot on the heels of reports that Milla Jovovich and Nicolas Cage are in advanced talks to join the all-star cast, alongside fellow new additions Wesley Snipes and Jackie Chan.

Filming is set to begin on the project later this year, with Patrick Hughes taking up the reins behind the camera. How many of Sly's existing gang will be returning remains to be seen, but we're sure most will be along for the ride.

Looks like Stallone has rounded up pretty much everyone on his hit-list. All we need now is for Harrison Ford to be confirmed, and we've got a full house…

Will Smith unlikely to return for Men In Black 4

Will Smith has thrown a potential spanner in the works of Sony's fourth Men In Black film, revealing that he intends to leave the third film as his last outing.


Earlier this year, Sony had put screenwriter Oren Uziel to work on a script for a potential fourth film, but those plans may be derailed by Smith's unwillingness to return.
